Specially for all newcomers

Welcome to the Rainbow Primary School 

All newcomers from the Heerhugowaard region are welcome. We are a multicultural school with children from many different countries. The children come to our school for one year. They learn the Dutch language with us and get acquainted with the Dutch culture. Sometimes children have not yet been to school, not even in their own country. On the Rainbow they get to know Dutch education in a safe and warm environment. 

Why the Rainbow? 

The Rainbow is a language school in the center of Heerhugowaard. Children who have just moved to the Netherlands are taken care of and introduced to the Dutch language and culture. We currently have eight groups in which we teach children aged 4 to 12 years. 
The school is organizationally part of basisschool de Paperclip in Heerhugowaard and falls administratively under Blosse Childcare and Education.
