Parental involvement

We believe it is important that parents are involved in the development of their children. 

There is a parent morning every month. All parents are welcome for a cup of coffee or tea and something tasty. During these mornings, information is provided about school and what the municipality of Dijk en Waard offers. Topics may include: Vocabulary, reading education, the library is invited. The development of children is also discussed, for example someone from the GGD is invited.

There are also conversations that the teacher wants to have with you. The teacher will invite you three weeks after you start at school. You can ask questions during this conversation. The teacher will tell you what they do in class and how your child experienced the first three weeks.

There are also discussions following a report. You will be invited to this in good time.
